Adaptation to the new privacy legislation: European regulation 2016/679 (GDPR)

We wish to inform you that, given the important changes foreseen by the European Union Regulation no. 679/2016, also known as “GDPR”, we have updated our Information on the processing of your personal data, which we propose below and for which we recommend careful reading.
INFORMATION REGARDING THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION AND PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA IN RELATION TO ENTRY INTO FORCE OF THE EU REGULATION 679/2016
We hereby inform you that, as you well know, starting from 25/05/2018 will come into force the EU regulation 679/2016 concerning the processing of personal data, and more generally the aspects concerning the “privacy” of each single citizen.
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), of mandatory application throughout the European Union, is designed to harmonize the privacy laws in force in Europe, providing the maximum guarantees for the individual.
The GDPR refines the rules on transparency and confidentiality related to the way in which the Organizations acquire and process the personal data already in their possession, and how they will collect and process data after the entry into force of the EU Regulation. The aim is to guarantee the maximum protection of the rights of the individual, with regard to the treatment and confidentiality of their data: all this, with the utmost procedural transparency (paper and information technology), respecting the provisions of the EU Regulation, and only in the presence of consent explicitly issued by the interested party.
Purpose of the treatment.
We remind you that your data currently in our possession are those that you gave us when meeting in your company/agency, at events and presentations and from requesting a quote (also by filling out the form), signing the banner for the receipt of the newsletter (on our homepage) or by direct telephone contact , and that the processing of your data by us, takes place exclusively for the following purposes:
– Periodically send newsletters by e-mail only (like this one) related to news, promotions or activities on behalf of the Hotels that The Luxury Lab represents.
The personal data processed for the aforementioned purposes are as follows:
- First name
- Surname
- Email address
- Telephone number
We specify that The Luxury Lab will NEVER grant user data to any activity outside The Luxury Lab name.
All data collected and stored by The Luxury Lab by means of your consent you will be used in a direct way and stored only for the purposes listed above.
Method of treatment.
Direct: the processing and storage of your personal data will be carried out by means of suitable paper, electronic and / or telematic means, with logic strictly related to the aforementioned purposes and, in any case, in such a way as to guarantee the security and confidentiality of the data.
Rights of the interested party.
It is mandatory to have your consent to receive emails from us.
Since your e-mail address is already in our possession, to deny this consent to its use, please send an email to: patrizia@theluxurylab.it with subject: cancellation of e-mail address.
In any case, every newsletter sent will include the possibility of cancelling the receipt and requesting the cancellation of data.

In detail, the interested party has the right to:
- revoke the consent previously given, without prejudice to the lawfulness of the treatment based on consent before revocation
- ask the Data Controller to access, correct or delete (right to be forgotten) personal data or limit the processing of personal data concerning him or to oppose their processing
- obtain data portability
- propose a claim to the Guarantor if it considers that its rights have been violated.
